Kayla (10 out of 10 ) This movie is one of the best movies i have ever seen. It is a great script and the actors choosen compliment it so well. The actors relly take it higher that you could ever imagine. it has everything a great drama needs. Hayden Christensen plays sam so well. He was th perfect choice along with Kevin Kline and Jenna Malone. Not many movies can make me cry but this one did the trick. excellent movie and excellent job to everyone involved.
Noelle (10 out of 10 ) Omg! This was the best movies by far that I've EVER seen! I mean the sadness in Sam's eyes. It's as if he doesn't feel loved, or like he belongs. I always makes me cry at the end. They are definitely tears of joy. I think that was the best way to end the movie. If I could rate this movie any higher it would be a (20)!
Kay (10 out of 10 ) This is one of the best teen related dramas I have ever seen! Hayden Christensen gave an extremely touching performance. I could really relate to what Sam was feeling inside.
Tara (10 out of 10 ) This is such a great movie! Kevin Kline as usual delivers a great performance, as well as Hayden Christensen and Jena Malone. Romantic, funny and bittersweet; this is the perfect drama. I loved it!
gerard du bon bon (1 out of 10 ) Trite.
Katelyn (10 out of 10 ) I love this movie. When I first saw it I was blown away. It is so much in touch with reality. I love Hayden and he was amazing in the movie. Kevin Kline is a wonderful actor and Jena Malone is one of my favorites. Mary Steenburgen and Kristin Scott Thomas gave great performances as well. This movie is anything but trite!
Ina (9 out of 10 ) "Life as a House" certainly belongs to my favorite movies, because of its atmosphere, the great acting, the sadness and fun.
Wendy (9 out of 10 ) This is a great movie, it touches me because my mom died. Not from cancer, but it made me think about her last weeks with me and what I should have said to her. Sam gets somewhat of a chance to say the things he wanted to say all along while his dad was alive. It made me glad that Sam had that chance.
My favorite scene is when George and his ex-wife dance to Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now". It describes their current relationship exactly.
Dawn Baker (10 out of 10 ) This is the best movie I have ever watched and the actors and actress are amazing! 4-5 months ago was the first time I watched it and I have watched it at least 15-20 times! I love Mary Steinburgen 100% THE BEST.
